For our Interactive Media Applications class, my partner and I worked on a 360° hiking video to give viewers an immersive outdoor experience.
We filmed our hike at Barfield Crescent Park using the Insta360 One X camera, which allowed us to capture everything around us as we walked the trail. Our goal was to make it feel like the viewer was actually there with us.
We edited the video to include natural sounds and smooth transitions to keep it engaging.
Overall, this project helped us get hands-on experience with 360° video production and think about the ways to use different interactive media to tell stories.
