Social Video Series

For my Interactive Media Applications class, I created a social video series for the JAC (June Anderson Center) with the goal of increasing engagement and promoting awareness of the center’s resources and events.

The audience for this project were students who were curious about the center and wanted to know more about who they support, what events they hold, and what resources they have. The audience primary consists of non-traditional students and the secondary audience is women students.

This project challenged me to think about how to create content that is not only informative but also visually engaging and appropriate for social media platforms. I had to learn how to hook an audience within the first few seconds, how to structure information in a clear and concise way, and how to maintain a tone that was professional.

Overall I enjoyed this project and I gained skills that will help me in my future career.
